Day #2 Yard Sale

Had a yard sale today. And this is what I did to kill time.

As I put all my trinkets and things on the cement of my driveway, I notice a sea of physical memories from high school, from middle school even, and clothes from past interviews, and dates. I reflected on how much I’ve changed. I am a different person.

I celebrated a birthday yesterday and ended a chapter of one of the hardest years of my life. Emotional break downs, depression, financial twists and turns, but wonderfully new understandings of love, loss, friendship, and home. I was happy to try and sell some old stuff, make a little green and purge the things that I don’t need to hold on to anymore.

And I had a few hours to sit and write a song. Wooo hoo! What a life!
